A B O U T

Born in the Basque Country, Somervail grew up between two worlds: his family’s deep ties to music and his interest in science. As a son of two classical musicians, he grew up surrounded by musical instruments, which he would use to create melodies from an early age. It wasn’t until he discovered electronic music, in 2010  when he decided to produce his own full tracks.  

Somervail is currently based in Hannover and keeps experimenting with new ideas, which he has been releasing since 2018 under his record label “Somervail Music”.  His first release, “Vacuum structure” presents the concept of electronic music Somervail enjoys the most. The following release, Cassiopeia, in collaboration with Pipkema, investigates a softer sound.

Having spent some years performing in cities such as Bilbao and Barcelona, Somervail tries to expose his music to the German electronic scene through his melodic and heavily rhythmic pieces.
